A separate ADL-R Practice Registry has been established specifically to assist organizations who are new to the ADL-R. All organizations applying for ADL-R access must first use the practice registry to establish a level of competency prior to interacting with the ADL-R Production Registry.
Approval for access to the ADL-R Practice Registry is available to approved DoD repositories and, on a selective basis, other repositories such as DoD coalition and international partners. Requests for access are made through the Register Repository menu selection on this portal.
The ADL-R User Support Staff is available to provide training and assistance to Department of Defense repositories.

The ADL-R Practice Registry is specifically designed for new repositories that want to train and test the submission process or their automation of the submission process.
The ADL-R Practice Registry content submission, transaction status and search functions perform identically to the ADL-R Operational registry.
The XML submission information varies only in that the and in your content submission xml file reflect your assigned practice values. This information is included in your original assignment information provided by the ADL-R User Support staff.
