News: HLA, SCORM and ADL-R

The Advanced Distributed Learning Registry (ADL-R) is a standards-based global federation of repositories designed to unify content discovery. This includes gaming and simulation content.

Research at the Joint ADL CoLab, Orlando, is directed at synchronizing the High Level Architecture (HLA) model used in modeling and simulation with the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) specification used for e-learning content management.

Unified content discovery will enable DoD to integrate, reuse and resequence learning and simulation content to enhance mission effectiveness and personnel performance.
